‘Together We’re Unlimited’ and ‘Because I Knew You’ - like Elphaba and Glinda - are total opposites and represent the contrasting yet intertwined nature of the two. Each artwork features subtle hints and additions of the others signature colour palette and incorporates my distinctive swirling brushstrokes, reflecting the evolution and movement of their relationship throughout the story. Their titles are inspired by the songs sung by both characters, ‘Defying Gravity’ and ‘For Good’ respectively, but are lines that the featured character sings.
